WSCHS Quarterly Meeting
Saturday June 15, noon – 3 PM
at Luther Burbank’s Experiment Farm
Members and friends of WSCHS will gather at the historic Burbank Farm in Sebastopol for the Quarterly Meeting on June 15th from noon to 3 PM. Local archaeologist and historic preservation expert Stacey De Shazo, M.A. will enlighten us about “Rediscovering Sebastopol’s Forgotten Chinese-American History.” Stacey holds a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University. She has over 16 years experience in historical architectural and cultural resources survey, identification, and evaluation. She is a Principal of Evans & De Shazo, Inc. in Sebastopol.
This event is a potluck lunch and is free and open to the public. Luther Burbank’s Experiment Farm is located adjacent to the Burbank Heights Senior Housing complex at 7777 Bodega Avenue in Sebastopol.

The Big Idaho® Potato Truck is coming to Sebastopol on June 27th! It will be on Main St. right in front of the West County Museum and the Sebastopol
Chamber of Commerce from 10 AM-2 PM on June 27th and in Santa Rosa on June 26th at the Luther Burbank Home and Gardens. This visit to Sonoma County commemorates Burbank’s development of the Russet Burbank potato allowing its wide-spread introduction to the commercial market.
